A look at Thursday’s Edmonton Weather from Environment Canada.
It’s 21 C at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station early Thursday, with 23 km/h winds out of the southeast.
It’s a good thing the air quality is improving rapidly, because we’re about to get some genuine gale force winds over the next couple of days, as well as up to 15 mm of rain, if not more.
Thursday’s forecast will feature showers throughout the day as well as some early morning thunderstorms, with winds climbing up to 50 km/h and about 5 mm of rain expected to drop. Those winds will climb to 60 km/h overnight, bringing with it up to another 10 mm of rainfall. Friday might get a few periods of sun between more bouts of rain, this time with 70 km/h winds bearing down on us.
